Another record breaking day!
U.S. debt shot up $239 billion on Tuesday the largest one-day bump in history.
In one day the spendaholics blew 60% of the “NEW” debt limit. Maybe we will be looking to increase the debt limit again before Obama is defeated in November 2012.
Imagine that:
Your spouse just got laid off their job and you are going over your bills and you both agree you need to cut up your credit card because you are way over your heads and can’t afford it now.
But, before you agree to cut it up… you just need a new pool table… and matching shoes… and a new plasma TV… and a new (fill in the blank).

The Republicans have taken over the House. And many good plans have been voted on and approved!
But… when we have well over a 1.3 TTTTTRILLION dollar deficit, quarreling over 21 billion dollars in cuts has got to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. Did the Democrats (Libtards) quarrel over billions and billions in spending sprees? No.

What was the question?
The state of the union speech was exactly what I had expected. Hot air and our president looking to “invest” (spend) money in this program and that program. Expand government into our lives.
The idea of MORE government is ridiculous to me. What can the Government do right?
The more the government steps in to help the worse things get!

I am sure I missed some other insurance you can just go out and purchase.
When our government or charitable organization gives foreign aid to other countries what happens?
Example:
Wheat and corn is sent to an under developed country. Very nice thought right?
It sure is a nice thought… but what happens to the farmer who is trying to sell his corn or wheat at the market? Can he compete with “free” food?
Now, if you want to send a charitable contribution to teach farmers how to produce a more vibrant crop, then you are heading in the right direction. Someone once said it is better to teach a man to fish than to give him fish.
Unintended consequences.
We have reached the tipping point here in Massachusetts.
More people are in the wagon than are pulling it.
More people on welfare, in unions, and working for the government. Massachusetts voted to keep things the way they have been.
It just amazes me.
But, on the bright side we repealed the tax on booze (if our elected hacks will enact it is another question).
We will need it.
